This week, we’ll explore the topic of “Home” through readings from the Bible andScience and Health with Key to the Scriptures, songs, prayer, questions, discussion, and the sharing of personal experiences.
Smithsonian magazine had this as an article title: “The Definition of Home – Be it ever so humble, it’s more than just a place. It’s also an idea—one where the heart is….”
We all have to define “home” as we go through life. Mary Baker Eddy writes, “Home is the dearest spot on earth, and it should be the center, though not the boundary, of the affections” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures page 58).
Questions to Consider
· How have you prayed for your own home? for the homeless? for where you are supposed to be?
· Have you found your own definition of home? What is it?
· Perhaps you would like to tell about your “home” experiences.
If you can’t make it to Prayer and Share, please post your ideas on the Next Generation Fellowship Facebook page and/or email me your ideas to share. Thoughts and testimony related to other topics are always welcome as well.
We hope to see you Wednesday night at 7:30 in the Sunday School. Friends and family are welcome!
