This week, we’ll explore the topic of “Weather” through readings from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, songs, prayer, questions, discussion, and the sharing of personal experiences.
Apparently, the weather is the #1 conversation piece in St. Louis. That’s generally because people feel it is out of their control. How does that jive with the fact that God is omnipotent? Is the weather more powerful than God?
Jesus said (Matthew 16: 3) “You find it easy enough to forecast the weather—why can’t you read the signs of the times?” What are the signs of the times? Why does it seem harder to find the important spiritual aspects of our lives than something as mundane as the weather?
If you have examples of how you overcame the weather and its effects, we’d love to hear them. We’d also love to hear testimonies and remarks on any other subject.
If you can’t make it to Prayer and Share, please post your ideas on the Next Generation Fellowship Facebook page and/or email me your ideas to share.
We hope to see you Wednesday night at 7:30 in the SundaySchool. Friends and family are welcome!
