May 8 – Praying about Terror

This week, we’ll explore the topic “Praying about Terror” through readings from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, songs, prayer, questions, discussion, and the sharing of personal experiences.

Terror is defined as intense, overpowering fear.   Terror and terrorism have been talked about a lot in the news lately.  They sell news media.

Questions to consider:

  •  Fear of death is the most common personal terror, but there also are other fears that qualify and sometimes get priority on our fear destruction list. What was the last one you destroyed, or what ones might you be working on?
  • How do we pray about fear and terrorism on a community or global level?

Thoughts and testimony related to other topics are always welcome as well.
